Understanding What Impacts Gaming Bus Party Cost
Our Complete gametruck Pricing Guide
Core Pricing
Factors that Influence gamer bus cost
Your total package price is based on a few simple decisions that you make, not random numbers:
- Length of the party: Longer parties cost more overall, but the price per hour usually goes down as you move from a short event to a full 2–3 hour gametruck birthday party production.
- Number of kids and type of party: A smaller Party of Five VR game truck is built for tight friend groups, therefore the price is going to be a lot less. Larger packages like the Party of Twelve Gaming Truck package are designed for a full squad of kids with more consoles and more hands-on hosting. The Unlimited Guests Gaming Truck is set up for bigger flows of kids, schools, churches, and community events. Each package that we offer has a different price that reflects the uniqueness of that particular package.
- Day and time: Prime time slots are Friday, Saturday & Sundays, which are in higher demand than weekday parties. When you’re flexible on date and time, you can often land a better value.
- Party add-ons and surprises: Some game trucks have add-ons like laser tag or bouncy houses. Gamer vs Gamer has add-ons like birthday yard sign rentals and installs, custom birthday video, superhero portrait, and the big gift reveal (PS5, Xbox, Switch, or VR headset) that all add value and can change the total.
- Type of event: Private birthday parties, school events, church functions, and fundraisers all have different goals and timelines. A fast two-hour birthday party is priced differently than an all-day school field day or festival.
Hourly Rates
How much does a game truck cost per hour?
A lot of parents Google “how much does a game truck cost per hour?”, but hourly pricing doesn’t tell the whole story.
Most “cheap hourly” quotes you see online don’t include everything you actually need for a real birthday party.
They often charge extra for travel, extra kids, extra hosts, or staying a little longer.
We don’t just park a gametruck and watch the clock. Each Gamer vs Gamer / Game Truck Atlanta party includes:
- A full birthday party production with setup, hosting, and clean-up,
- Structured gaming blocks so every child gets play time,
- Food and drinks served inside the game bus, and
- A moment focused on making the birthday child feel like the star.
- Pre-party coordination so we know your driveway, parking, and guest count,
- Game selection based on ages and what your child actually likes to play,
- Timing the “4 Surprises” so they land at the right moment in the party, and
- Travel time to and from your home – not just the time the doors are open.
What ages are these party packages best for?
Our price does not change based upon age. Some game trucks do charge like that. As a general guide:
- Party of Twelve Gaming Truck: Great for ages 5 and up. This is our classic console-based game truck party with PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
- Party of Five VR Game Truck: Best for ages 10+, since it uses Meta Quest VR headsets and more immersive gameplay.
- Unlimited Guests Gaming Truck: Ideal for kids, teens, schools, churches, and large events where you have a steady flow of players rotating in and out.
